You may come across unleashed dogs on the trail. Fairly steep at points with 25%+ grades, some exposed and sheltered scrambles throughout the loop.
Quick, 6-ish mile lollipop loop starting on the Middlesex trail. Diverge at White Rock trail, up to White Rock Mountain summit for an exposed rocky expanse with multiple viewing angles of Mount Hunger and the surrounding valleys and mountains. Then heading along a wooded ridgeline over to Hunger Mountain with another large exposed rocky area and views and back down the Middlesex trail. Fairly steep at points with 25%+ grades (at one point on Middlesex trail there is a rope to help your ascent/descent), some exposed and sheltered scrambles throughout the loop, a few mud pits but nothing crazy.
