Family Friendly With many marked trees, this can be a great route for older kids, especially if you're introducing tree identification to curious youngsters!

Description

Start by following the grass trail along the fence line towards the woods. Take it easy, because you are heading toward a rather long and steep climb. After the initial hill, the terrain levels out and it's a beautiful hike over moss-covered rocks and lots of tree roots. You'll be about 300 ft. above the surrounding terrain, which makes for some scenic views between the trees.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of trees are marked as to what type they are.
