The camp gates are locked at night during summer camp sessions (late June-early August) and are opened again around 8 am.

Description

This trail starts at the south end of South Mountain Christian Camp and moves steadily northward. It is a long, continuous climb, reaching grades of up to 10%. The trail follows a small creek for much of the journey and crosses the water five times with bridges of varying widths (from 4 feet wide to 6 feet wide).

Flora & Fauna

Wild azaleas and dogwoods bloom along this trail in the spring. Deer, turkey, and groundhogs are commonly spotted.
