Description

This trail connects the Mammoth Pass Cutoff to Lower Crater Meadows and the JMT/PCT. Water can be intermittent on the way but can usually be found year round at the JMT junction. The route makes for easy hiking, and you'll have the freedom to look up from your feet and enjoy the scenery. While this route is beautiful, there are many areas that rival or surpass this trail in beauty.

Flora & Fauna

Standard Sierra Nevada flora and fauna.
