Overview

This is a popular mountain biking, hiking, and trail running trail system located between Rutgers at Camden County and the Gloucester Township Community Park. Parking is at 380 Hickstown Road Sicklerville, NJ 08081. There is a parking lot within the Gloucester Township Community Park.

Description

The trail system includes 8 miles of singletrack with some rooty sections, some sandy sections, and some short, steep hills. The trails are well maintained. The trail system has many crossing trails and no formal trail map. This is a commonly used loop that incorporates a number of named sections of the system. The trailhead is at the back of the parking area.

This hike enters the trail system at the parking lot, drops down a short embankment and immediately turns right. The trail is generally flat and passes by several entrances along the Gloucester Township Community Park border. The trail climbs a short steep hill and then descends quickly and crosses a doubletrack path. It then continues to climb a short hill and turns right down an eroded gully.
