Features -none-

Family Friendly Older kids can certainly handle this trail's moderate length and manageable grades.

This trail is for winter use only when snow covered.

Description

This is the primary route used to access the winter route up Mt. St. Helens: Worm Flows.

Starting at the Marble Mountain Sno-Park parking lot, follow the trail north through dense forest to pass several junctions with other ski trails. Along the way, be sure to stay off the cross-country ski tracks as you make your way up moderate grades to reach the trail's end at a junction with the Loowit Trail. From here, follow the signs for the Worm Flows Climbing Route, if that's your objective (permits required), but otherwise utilize any of the host of winter trails in this area to bring you back south to your car.

Note that if you're trying to reach nearby June Lake the navigating can be tricky, so be sure to bring the Hiking Project mobile app to keep you on course.
