Description

The Ridge Trail moves around the perimeter of the park. Like its name suggests, the trail will climb along a ridge. If you follow the route in the direction mapped here, which is clockwise, you'll enjoy a longer though more leisurely ascent. This means that the final section before the parking lot will entail a dramatic drop.

Along the way, take in forested views and enjoy this secluded route.

Trail dry, sunny 75 degrees and low humidity. Perfect hiking weather. Suggest going counter clockwise; a little steep at first and very rocky. Gradual — 2h 45m

Great woodland hike. Take care at the boulders; markers are confusing and it's easy to get turned around. 5.2mi
