Description

Dalton is the outer-most loop of the Arrowhead Trails. It generally follows the contours of the hillside, but does have some moderate elevation gains. It is mostly smooth-treaded, with the exception of a few areas with rocky terrain. Be sure to watch your footing in these areas, as they can become slippery when wet.

For the full experience on Dalton, be sure to hike through the trail's beloved rhododendron tunnel, located south of the junction between Dalton and the Dalton - Adena Connector.

Flora & Fauna

A rhododendron tunnel is one of the defining features of this hike.
