Start from either Blue Steak or the Ridge Trail. From the Ridge Trail, look for the sign with a red arrow pointing to the north and head downhill through trees on a steep decline. Continue down on steep terrain until the trail levels out along a creek bed.

Upon encountering a fence line, do an about face and follow flagging up the hill to the right before going down and back up towards another fence line. Take a left turn and head up the draw before going though a sometimes open gate in a fence before joining the Blue Steak Trail.

Deer, turkey, birds. Possibly cattle.
