Description

Head north through a gate at the end of Grandview Rd. onto a gravel path to begin the Little Laurel Trail. Along the descent to the river, keep an eye out for the historic Royal coal mine. Upon reaching the banks of the New River, dip your toes if you are so inclined, before beginning the steady climb back to the trailhead.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers are plentiful on this trail during the spring and summer months.
