The most challenging part of this trail is staying awake during it.”
— Peter Gitta
The park is open from dawn to dusk.
In a word, boorrrring. Nothing to see here. Less a trail, and more a spot for the locals to bring their dogs to relieve themselves.
Need To Know
Your car will be safe since you never lose sight of it during your hike.
I suppose it's an OK place to have a picnic under the shelter, but the trail is nothing to write home about. The route follows a monotonous path that has been mowed in an old cornfield. There's not a thing growing that's over 3 ft. tall. That being said, if you're looking for a short trail to let a four legged friend burn some energy, this might be a good spot.
Not recommended if you're looking for a longer or more scenic route.
History & Background
Used to be a cornfield.
