Description

Situated in one of the most verdant parts of the park, this trail provides hikers with many highlights. Especially if you're visiting in the spring, there will be droves of bright fuchsia blooms blanketing the area to the sides of this trail.

Even after the flowers have gone for the season, there is still much to see. This trail bridges the gap between the scenic James Irvine Trail and the Miners Ridge Trail, working its way through a narrow valley on the way. While not quite as spectacular as Fern Canyon, this valley sports a thriving fern population, and there are many different types of undergrowth to be appreciated along the way.
