Though old-growth forests populate much of Redwood National Park, passing through this one is still amazing.

Family Friendly Though steep, this trail offers a chance to admire a new perspective on the soaring trees in the area.

Description

Connecting the Brown Creek Trail with the Rhododendron Trail, this shorter route gives hikers the chance to continue their journey beneath the old-growth forests for which Redwood National Park is known. The trail is steep in places, but hiking both up and down allow visitors to admire the varied trophic levels that are representative of old growth forests.

It's recommended that visitors use this shorter trail as a way to create looped excursions through the trees.
