Trail shared by Steve Garnsey

A great trail through a Oak Scrub Community that is adapted to a very dry environment.

Steve Garnsey

Features Wildflowers

Description

The terrain is flat and has hard packed sand. This area has Myrtle Oaks, Sand Live Oaks, Vanilla Plants, Rosemary, and Tarflower. Dragon flies abound in this area which allows for cross-pollination of plants. Raccoon tracks are also everywhere, keep an eye out. You can access this trail from the Fallen Log Crossing Trail.
