Description

To reach the trail, exit the parking area and link up to Santiago Creek Trail. Head east on Santiago Creek Trail briefly before taking a left to head north on Roadrunner Loop Trail. In less than 0.1 mile turn left to cross the road and meet a junction. Go right to head north on Roadrunner Loop Trail; this side of the trail is generally better defined than the western side.
At about 0.5 miles turn left to follow the trail west before it quickly turns south down the western leg. This side is a little brushier and traverses through willows and riparian growth. At 1.1 miles the trail crosses a connector trail and the turns east. Cross the road and head south to back to Santiago Creek Trail. A right onto Santiago Creek Trail followed by a left down the road will take you back into the parking lot.
