Family Friendly The visitors center near the parking lot has many displays and a learning center that gives presentations. They also loan out binoculars for bird watching and can point you to areas of interest.

Description

The Neidrach Nature Trail is a short loop trail starting west of the Nature Center that visits many highlights of the Barr Lake area in about half a mile. The tread is mostly boardwalk, which has the benefit of being great for nature viewing and mostly ADA accessible.

Flora & Fauna

Birds, deer, toads, fish, cottonwood trees, and lots of cockleburs can be seen, in addition to other spiky/clingy seedpods.
