Description

From the parking lot, look for the path that veers into the woods from the paved path along the playground. Stay on the left when the trail splits and soon it will descend, climb, and descend again. Stay to the left after the creek crossing to get to the Holly Loop.

The actual loop begins with a climb over a particularly rooty section that begins just after the Silverwood Trail takes off to the left. After that the trail is mostly hardpack dirt with little obstacles. It is fast, with several small twists and turns. Make your way around this one once, or feel free to make another loop!
