A rolling, buffed trail.

Description

Root Down is a meandering singletrack section of trail. The trail crosses a couple of small streams and a mildly swampy area. Especially after a rain, expect to have wet feet. It's difficult to lose your way here, as the trail is marked by green blazes.

Starting from the Metacomet trailhead, bear left and cross the Jeep track. The track is definitively a mountain biking trail with a high berm trail and a couple of rock drops.
