A short trail off the Gabrielino Trail (NRT) that heads to the beautiful Sturtevant Falls.

Zander Goepfert

Overview

Features: Views — Waterfall

Description

This short offshoot completes a small loop using the Gabrielino Trail (NRT), while visiting the popular and scenic Sturtevant Falls. The beginning section of this trail is steep and makes for a tough start, but the grade levels off briefly in the middle at the falls before the final push up to the Gabrielino Trail (NRT) further north. For an out-and-back route to the falls, see the Sturtevant Falls featured hike.

We hiked to the fall, then doubled back to the upper falls trail at the fork and looped around to the horse trail back to the parking lot. 7 miles. 0.7mi — 0h 45m

Dry - The fall is just a trickle now, but I'm sure it will be cascading come spring time. A well kept trail, nice and shady.
