Description

While primarily used as an equestrian trail, this retired roadbed is open to hikers and provides them with a peaceful journey through mixed hardwood forests.

The trail can be traversed starting from either parking area, as both provide an enjoyable woodland experience. Occasionally, this shaded trail can be muddy, so be prepared and wear waterproof footwear.

For an especially enjoyable time on the Upper Ridge Road Trail, make sure to come during the autumn to see the forest erupt in fiery fall colors.
