The Little Sycamore Canyon Trail is probably the most beautiful of the cross trails in this part of the park.

Description

The Little Sycamore Canyon Trail connects the Vix Nature Center and staging area parking lot with the Serrano Ridge Trail. The top is very rutted and steep singletrack with lots of loose rocks to make the hike interesting. Toward the middle, it levels out, widens, and generally becomes easier to hike but then turns into a deeply rutted and steep doubletrack toward the bottom of the trail. The views make it well worthwhile though.
