Description

A steep, but mostly manageable trail. It is a bit rocky and tends to have quite a few downed trees in the spring (as do many trails in this area), until trail crews have cleared them out. I usually hike with a folding saw this time of year to clean up what I can.

You can hike this trail in winter as well, especially if there has not been a significant snowfall recently. It sees a lot of ski and snowshoe traffic to pack it down.
