Family Friendly Flat with lots of birds to see. There are picnic tables and a pit toilet near the end of the trail.

Description

Get up close and personal with the wetlands of Hood Canal. Interpretive kiosks along this trail inform and delight by pointing out the wonderful features of this wetland. The marsh is a protected salt marsh, where the Union River meets the Canal. There is also an interpretive community center at the parking lot.
