Overview

Description

The Turk Gap Trail is an old road that is now a yellow-blazed trail, mostly used by horses. It starts on the north side of Skyline Drive at the Turk Mountain Trailhead and immediately heads into the woods. The trail descends steadily but gradually all the way to the boundary of the park where it ends at Crimora Lake Lane.

Getting forecast...

Hiked this yesterday, the pine needles covering sections of the trail were a nice change , other than that not much to make it stand out. Glad I did it , doubt I’ll do it again. Just over two hours for this 60 yr old lady 12 hours ago
