Family Friendly Short and moderate, this trail features old homesites that will surely capture the imagination of youngsters.

Overview

Use this hike to head into the woods off of Skyline Drive at Lands Run Gap and look for signs of old homesites that used to be situated along this old horse trail.

Description

This horse trail is a nice hike off of the north side of Skyline Drive at Lands Run Gap. The yellow-blazed trail descends gradually, following an older horse trail route that used to have several homesites located off of it. The trail heads through Hickerson Hollow and connects to Harmony Hollow outside of the park.
