Description

From the trailhead, head northeast, skirting to the left or west side, of the cemetery. Form here you'll have a short but steep descent. At the low point, you'll notice several dirt trails branching off from the paved Centennial Trail, stay on the paved trail and you'll continue and gradually climb to regain a little bit of the elevation that you lost.

From here you'll have great views of the Spokane River. After about one mile, the trail will be in a much more open area that is great for catching a glimpse of local wildlife. At approximately 1.5 miles you'll reach a junction with Aubrey White Parkway Dr. From here you'll head north, right, following the road for the next 0.8 miles of the trail.

Beware that this last section of the trail follows a road that is shared by vehicles, bikes, horses and pedestrians. Be on alert here to you surroundings, especially at dawn and dusk.

This trail ends at the Bowl and Pitcher Trailhead. From here there are extraordinary views!
