Description

A closed forest service road numbered 543. This road is used exclusively by the people that own property along Buffalo Creek and is also used by the Forest Service for wildland fire fighting and for emergency response, but it is closed to public car traffic. The road is level and in good shape with a hard packed surface without a lot of washout.

Heading from CR 126 to Redskin Creek Road, this connects nicely with many of the trails in the area which branch off along the road: Sandy Wash #730, Gashouse Gulch #726, Morrison Creek #724, Shinglemill Trail #725, Tramway #723, are just a few examples. This road also connects to FR 550
