Starting at the visitor center, head north following the Green Trail markers. You can hike this loop in either direction. If you hike it counterclockwise, you'll quickly drop to the river on some rooted doubletrack and be greeted with a smooth flat stretch along the creek for the first half of the loop. The second half of the loop is undulating back up to the visitor center along shaded trails with rocks and roots.
