Description

Follow the Farming Terrace Trail for a glimpse into the agricultural engineering prowess of the Ancestral Puebloans.

In an effort to decrease water runoff and increase the farmable land in this area, the Ancestral Puebloans created stepped terraces, which are still intact and visible today.

Be sure to bring water with you on this trail, as there is limited shade along the way.

Flora & Fauna

Keep your eyes peeled for hummingbirds and lizards along the trail.
