Description

This short connector trail is the main access point for through-hikers on the PCT. This short downhill is all that separates long distance visitors from the refueling point at Mazama Village. The way is shady thanks to the lodgepole and hemlock forest that surrounds the path.

If you're not looking to complete a through-journey on the PCT, this short climb up to the longer trail is an easy access point. Visitors can quickly climb to the longer trail, and enjoy the novelty of accessing portions of the iconic trail.

Flora & Fauna

The pine forests that blanket much of Crater Lake National Park also surround this trail.
