Features Wildlife

Family Friendly Very flat out and back. The campground at the end has a bathroom and tables which can be a fun picnic area for kids. Be sure to make a lizard catcher, as there are lots of fence lizards around.

Description

This trail leads into a side valley that is a designated campground. It is an easy route to access the campground because it is relatively flat. The western canyon wall offers protection from the wind and the grove of Eucalyptus trees give the site a feeling of being out in the wilderness.

Flora & Fauna

Owls and other birds nest in the grove of trees. There are plenty of fence lizards and an occasional bobcat.
