Description

The 2.4-mile (each way) trip to Yost Lake along Yost Creek climbs steadily up a wildflower-sprinkled High Sierra ridge, with demanding inclines and great scenery.

The trailhead is marked off the June Lake Loop (Hwy. 158) There is a little parking area marked Yost Trail amongst Aspen Trees.

You'll start your hike through Aspen Trees over a little Bridge. You start to climb the steep trail through Pines for 2.4 miles.
