Area between the green metal gates is closed from Dec 1 to April 15 (or April 30th some years) to protect winter deer and elk

Description

Sidewinder initially climbs the sunny, shade-less ridgeline. Eventually you'll pass through sections of scrub oak and some eroded sections of trail. Keep ascending northwards, then turn to the west to intersect with Telegraph and Crite's Connect. There are many different trail options along the way and most intersections are well marked with trail maps.
