This faint trail through the foothills is better left to the paraglider pilots.

Description

Although this path provides access to the Wonderland Hill paraglider areas, but it is not as interesting or well maintained as the (not very maintained) Wonderland Hill Glider Trail.

The Wonderland Hill Ridge trail leaves the Foothills South Trail at an unmarked junction. It is very narrow and faint in several places. Hike uphill at a fairly steady grade through open, grassy hillsides. Parallel and then cross a seasonal stream and then turn south. Here the steepness decreases and the going gets easier. Pass the intersection with the Wonderland Hill Expert Glider Access trail and then the trail ends at the junction with the Wonderland Hill Glider Trail.

Flora & Fauna
