This is a nice leisurely trail leading through a mostly forested environment.

Description

While this trail can be done as an 'out-and-back' hike, it is best combined with other trails in the area, such as the Creamery Meadow Trail, River Trail, Panorama Trail, or the Beach Trail, to create a loop.

The Ridge Trail wanders mostly through lightly forested terrain and with minimal elevation gain, traversing the first ridge to the east of the coast.

The ridge trail is more of a road and very easy, with nice walks through large trees. We exited the ridge trail and took the secret trail to the river 2mi
