Family Friendly It is well maintained with easy switchbacks . Dogs are able to use this trail and there are usually creeks for drinks except in very late summer when some go dry.

Description

For those optioning to shuttle vehicles, the actual trail distance of this loop is about 4 miles long between Eagle Ridge Trailhead and the Sierra Canyon access point. Creating a loop adds an additional 2.2 miles by following the graveled Centennial Drive down to Jacks Valley Road, then north on Jacks Valley Road and back up Eagle Ridge Road to the Eagle Ridge Trailhead. This loop has the least amount of snow during winter months.
