Seasonal closures exist based on snow. Check Baxter State Park Website for seasonal closures.

No children under 6 permitted.

Description

Often used as a loop with many of the other trails. I highly recommend this in a variation to the other posted Katahdin Loop. Fewer miles, but still requires a high level of fitness.

Flora & Fauna

Stay on trail and durable surfaces to minimize impact to fragile alpine plants.
