Description

The trail is short, but it's steep and challenging enough to keep things interesting. The lake itself is a scenic little lake located on the northeastern slope of Mount Pilchuck that offers a perfect place to catch your breath.

Flora & Fauna

Vegetation becomes more interesting as you get further into the trail. There are large prickly leaves and bright red berries of devils club and fern understory.

If you want to find some snow in November- this is the place to go! Microspikes is a good idea. a bit steep. Very rewarding in the end!

Steep but doable. Bring snacks for the lake rest stop! 2.6mi — 4h 00m
