Update

An easy trail featuring seasonal waterfalls that are worth seeking out after a rainstorm.

Mario Martinez

Overview

Features: River/Creek — Views — Waterfall — Wildflowers — Wildlife
Dogs: Offleash

Description

This is an easy hike, although it can be a bit crowded, so don't expect moments of solitude. Waterfalls are rare in the desert, so it's best to experience it after some rain. There is excessive heat on this trail during the hottest months of summer.

Native American petroglyphs are visible along the trail and depending on the time of year, you may see desert blossoms and different types of wildlife.

Flora & Fauna

Best seasons to see water flowing are after rain during Monsoon (Mid June through September) or in the winter. Best season for blooming desert flora is early spring.
