Description

The junction to Crater Lake Trail is 6.7 miles up the Cascade Trail. After you branch off to the right onto the Crater Lake Trail, you travel up a moderate grade for 1.1 miles before terminating at Crater Lake. After 0.6 miles the trail crosses the stream on a double log footbridge and then continues following a series of switchbacks. The trail levels out at Mirror Lake, a small and shallow lake a quarter of a mile below Crater Lake. Towering above is Lone Eagle Peak.

I don't know if the GPS points are off for this trail head but it's inaccessible, even with 4x4. If I wasn't with some inexperienced folks I would have got out and hoofed it to see if it even exists, but just a heads up for anyone attempting to find it. Jun 27, 2018
