Description

Use this trail to connect the two main work roads on Buttermilk Mountain Ski Area. The trail climbs gently from the Tiehack side summer work road, to the main Buttermilk Mountain summer work road.

Most often used in ascending the mountain when coming from downtown Aspen, especially to avoid the steep beginning of the main Buttermilk Mountain summer work road that starts near the main base area parking lot.

Make sure branch off the main service road after a quarter mile onto singletrack on the right. If you start going up steeply, and make a sharp left turn on the service road, you've gone 100 yards too far.
