Description

The best route using Stack Rock is to stay left after the large berm. This direction has a steeper climb but allows you to hike down the handbuilt singletrack sections that twist through the forest. On a weekend, this trail can get very busy, especially if it is hot in the valley.

A stop at Stack Rock is a must since it is such an impressive formation jutting out of the ridgeline and also a very prominent landmark from Boise.
