Features: Fall Colors — River/Creek — Views — Wildflowers
To be clear, this route is literally called "Connector," and is well signed at the top and bottom of the trail. Its many switchbacks wind down the Campground area ski slopes, offering great views, open meadow slopes, and mixed aspen/conifer forests harboring columbines and other wildflowers. It connects Ditch Trail at the bottom to Government Trail
at the top.
About halfway through this trail, you'll join a 4wd dirt work road for 200 yards, so look out for signs to rejoin the singletrack route. The route is very pleasant, even if there are some steep sections and a few loose switchbacks to negotiate.
