Description

This doubletrack road connects Castle Creek Rd. all the way up to the Sundeck. It can be used as part of a loop from town with Aspen Mt. Summer Road. There are many long steep sections, but the views at the Sundeck restaurant's deck are worth the effort. Although there are some Aspen tree sections, most of the road travels through dark timber forests.

Descending the road can be difficult given the many steep sections, but beware of the tight turns with loose rocks.

At about 2/3 of the way up from the bottom, watch out for intersections and signage; you have the option of joining Little Annie Road and continuing up to Richmond Ridge Road.
