Description
This is a connector trail that provides access to
Elephant Head Trail and
Split Rock Loop Trail if you decide that the
White Rock Loop isn't quite enough of a workout for you! You can connect to this trail whether you go clockwise or counter-clockwise on the
White Rock Loop. Technically easy trail with some sandy spots, but no real rocks, roots, etc. Both ends of the trail do have a steep climb, with the southern end being the worst of the two ends.
About half way up the climb at the southern end, there is a single tree and a place to tie your horse (if you were on a horse - which is a common activity on Antelope Island) up to take a break and is commonly referred to as One Tree Hill.
Flora & Fauna
Common to see bison hanging out along this trail, and sometimes even blocking the trail.
