The Spring Brook Loop is an excellent trail worth doing in both directions.

Hiking counterclockwise, Spring Brook Loop North starts before the forest and winds over the hills. You'll start to take in expansive views across the plains to the Flatirons. Once you enter the forest, wind your way back and forth on short, tight turns until you eventually reach the Spring Brook Loop South. To the west, you'll have a great perspective of the foothills, and may even see a train climb up towards the Continental Divide.

From here you may also choose to turn northwest continuing on Spring Brook North, eventually connecting to the Fowler Trail.
