Description

The Bolema trail is a functional, nearly fireroad-width trail that provides access to the ridge from Olema Valley. From its junction with the Olema Valley trail, the Bolema trail ascends at a steady grade high above a canyon to the south. There are occasional partial views across a canyon to a forested ridge. Nearing the top, the pitch lessens and the trail gets more narrow, finally ending at the 4-way intersection with both the Ridge trail and Lake Ranch trail. Note: bikes are not allowed on this trail.

Flora & Fauna

Pine, live oak, Douglas fir, madrone, bay, tanoak, creambush, hazelnut, honeysuckle, ceanothus
