Description

From an intersection with the Lower Bierstadt Moraine Trail near the shuttle drop-off and parking lot along Bear Lake Road, this trail climbs steeply up the ridgeline toward Bierstadt Lake. As you hike up this trail, your surroundings will transition from widely spaced ponderosa to a more dense forest. The trail dead-ends into the east end of the splendid Bierstadt Lake.
