Description

This is a short loop above Lily Lake that offers a scenic alternative to the regular lakefront loop. Gaining almost all of the altitude at the start of this loop, it quickly mellows into a gentle descent through the ponderosa forest back to the Lily Lake Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Elk and Deer are scattered about through the ponderosa forest with wax current bushes and various species of understory grasses.
