Hop on the Painted Canyon Trail for fantastic views of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
The trail climbs gently up a ridge before descending to the trail junction. You can see one of the trail markers up on the hill.

Bison are frequently seen on this trail – give them a wide berth.
